Now, you can use your credit card to donate online by clicking Donate button to the right. Online donations to the Cathedral Church of St. Catharine of Siena are handled by MakeaDonation.com.

1. First, you will supply information about yourself on a Donor Information page. You will be asked for name, address, phone and e-mail information.
2. On a second page you will be asked for your credit card information. We currently accept American Express, Visa, or Mastercard. With the aid of a menu pulldown (see below) you can also select how you want your donation directed:
   

   Parish Revitaliation	Your contribution will go towards the Parish Revitaization fund.
   Cathedral School	This fund helps with the everyday operating costs of the parish elementary school.
   Bishop Thompson Scholarship Fund	This fund assists needy familes with tuition fees to attend Cathedral School.
   No Restrictions	Select this option if you would like your contribution to act like a Sunday envelope.

   You will also be able to enter comments about your donation. If you are a Cathedral Parishioner we ask that you please supply your envelope number in this field.
3. In the final step you are asked to review the information provided in the previous two steps. You will have a chance to change any informaion. Your donation is not complete until you press the Submit Donation button on the bottom of this page.

How do I know if my browser supports "secure communication?"
To find out whether your browser supports a "secure transmission", click on the "Security" button on your browser. The browser would let you know whether the transmission / communication was secure or encrypted. There are other ways to tell whether you have a secure connection to our site. On Netscape versions 4.X and higher, there is an indicator at the bottom left hand corner of the window that looks like a "pad lock". If the pad lock is closed, then you do have a secure connection. If the pad lock is open, then the connection is not secure. On Internet Explorer, there is similar icon on the status bar which will let you know whether the connection is secure or not. If you are not able to connect to our secure server, please follow these directions provided by Thawte Inc. to properly configure your browser.

Once I start the Donation Process, am I committed to giving the donation?
No. Your donation is not final until you click the Submit Donation button on the last step of the donation process. You will receive a confirmation numbers indicating that you have successfully completed the donation process.
