Cathedral School Home


The Cathedral School curriculum incorporates the Diocesan Curriculum Guidelines with the Pennsylvania Academic Standards for math, reading and language arts, library science, social studies, and science; the National Council of Teaching Mathematics (NCTM); and the Pennsylvania Literacy Framework (PLF). A multitude of teaching strategies, which include computer technology and other multi-media materials, is implemented to develop each student’s independent and critical thinking skills. These strategies support the child’s neurodevelopment stages of learning from the concrete level to the abstract level of intellectual growth.
